Every year, once every November, people from around the world participate in the Nanowrimo, the National Novel Writing Month. www.nanowrimo.org. Basically, in a nutshell, a single person is required to get at least 50,000 words written in thirty days. Thats about 1600 words a day. When you, or if you, do this, you 'win'. It's kind of a jipped competition, I know.
Anyway, as of now, I am really behind. I am almost to 20,000 words, five thousand off of what I'd like it to be. Yes, I know, your all thinking I'm crazy...that's nothing new!
Well, hopefully I will be able to produce a couple "self" made copies of my story at www.lulu.com, then distribute it through my friends and family.

Your competition sounds amibitious. But you should do well, your writing skills are good and you have a lot to say :)
